Callums recent work has being focused a lot on editorial illustration and tackling the big issues in our news and media. Fitting an illustration to text requires a certain language that can be subtlety integrated into the article. All of the work below has being done using a graphics tablet, which allows Callum to vector his images the way he sees them.
One of Callum's many passions in life is painting portraits and capturing the unique charm of that person. We are all destined to be forgotten but through the power of Art these portraits can make a persons life timeless. One of the joys of painting a portrait is the shear attention to detail required to get them accurate. Such devotion of time and energy to a single canvas is a small testament to their meaning to him.
